Havering Council has received an array of planning applications over the last week, so we have rounded up the most notable ones.

These cover a variety of proposals, from the demolition of a commercial unit to make way for flats to the change of use of a residence into a nursery.

The planning applications are currently "Undecided" and will be reviewed by the council before any final decisions are made.

One planning application submitted, P1087.23, was the third attempt to demolish a commercial unit next to Upminster train station and replace it with flats.

There are also plans, P1058.23, for the erection of one single bed detached bungalow with associated parking, landscaping and amenity space in Havering-Atte-Bower, involving the demolition of the exisiting rear garage.

In the Rainham and Wennington ward, application P0729.23 to extend a rice processing factory, including office, welfare, additional storage spaces and plant room has been made.

There are also proposals, P1032.23, in Squirrels Heath to covert a garage into a habitable bedroom, including a front extension that would form a new porch and a ground floor rear extension of a 4-metre depth.

Another application, P1074.23, seeks a change of use from a residential building into a nursery and a ground floor rear extension on Park Lane in Hornchurch, St Albans.

Also in St Albans, P1049.23 proposes a change of use to a function hall on a temporary basis on 12 Bridge Close.

In Upminster, an application, P1069.23, proposes a front single storey extension and conversion of a garage into a habitable room on Tawny Avenue. 

An application in Elm Park, P1061.23, proposes the conversion of a garage into a habitable room and the relocation of the front door on Northalt way in Hornchurch.

In Gooshays ward, an applicant, P0909.23, is seeking the erection of a carport on Noak Hill in Romford.

On Winifred Avenue in Hornchurch, an application, P1055.23, proposes a two-storey extension and single storey rear extension.

In Marshalls and Rise Park, plans have been made for a single storey side extension and front porch on Ashmour Gardens, under application P1080.23.
