An 11-year-old Romford girl has become the youngest known person in the world to achieve a Grade 7 acting award from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), according to her drama school.
Brittni Penelope D’Souza completed the Level 3 qualification with distinction in just one year.
The achievement, known as the LAMDA Silver Medal Acting Solo Examination, also earned her 16 UCAS points.

Her mother, Adriana D’Souza, said: "She was super motivated by this, so she continued to progress through the grades, and within a year, she has now achieved her Grade 7 exam usually taken by 16-year-olds, and equivalent to a whole A-level."
Brittni took her Grade 1 exam on July 19, 2025, and reached Grade 7 by July 5 this year, earning distinctions in both.
Her rapid progress inspired her mother to launch Scene Stealers Studios (SSS), a drama school with a "personalized, affordable and flexible approach" to learning.
Ms D’Souza said: "We hope to continue to grow together. Brittni helps to teach, demonstrate for, support and motivate our SSS Squad."
