Thousands filled historic gardens in Hornchurch for a community concert.

Around 2,000 people gathered at Langtons Gardens in Hornchurch on June 7, for the return of the Langtons Summer Concert.

The Westminster Philharmonic Orchestra headlined the event with a programme of classical favourites.

Keith Prince, leader of Havering Council, said: "Thanks to all the attendees who turned out in huge numbers and contributed to a tremendous atmosphere at the Langtons Summer Concert on Sunday. I thoroughly enjoyed the ever-popular event, made special by wonderful music from The Westminster Philharmonic Orchestra.

"The concert proves to be such a local favourite, and it always provides a great sense of community thanks to the many families and friends in attendance."

Mayor of Havering, Maggie Themistocli, described the concert as a "truly memorable event."
