Havering Council has revealed a new set of road closures for gas mains replacement works.

In a notice published in the Recorder on February 9, the council has added two roads that could have restrictions placed for a period.

Craigdale Road in Hornchurch at its junction with Brentwood Road will be shut between 7am and 7pm from February 19 to March 10, or upon completion of works.

A diversion route will be in place via Brentwood Road, Douglas Road and Allandale Road.

Parkstone Avenue in Hornchurch will be fully closed to the public from 7am to 7pm between February 19 and March 25 or upon completion of works.

Three set of diversion routes are proposed for it, the details for which can be found in the notice.

The above closures are in addition to the restrictions approved for Burntwood Avenue in Hornchurch for gas works that are expected to go on until February 26.

A parking bay suspension has also been proposed outside number 70 to 84 Chippenham Road to facilitate development work for the Harold Hill town centre regeneration scheme.
