An Asda has replaced a Co-op at a petrol station and we have taken a look inside the new store.

Earlier this month, Asda announced that a Co-op Food at Petrol Hornchurch in Billet Lane was set to be replaced by one of its stores.

Since then, the supermarket chain has provided a collection of photos of its new Express shop.

We have taken a look inside Hornchurch's latest Asda to see what is on offer.

The store can be found near Emerson Park station which is a short two-minute walk away.

The change was made as part of an Asda acquisition of more than 132 Co-op sites which have attached petrol stations.

Asda said its latest Hornchurch branch opened on January 19 - a move welcomed by Andy Perry, vice president of convenience.

The store became the latest Asda offering in Havering after another an Asda Express branch opened in South Street, Romford.
