A request to extend the opening hours of a pub into the early hours on Fridays and Saturdays is among the latest premises licence applications submitted to Havering Council.

The Craft Union Pub Company Ltd has applied to extend their hours on Fridays and Saturdays for all licensable activities up to 1am for their pub, The Phoenix, in Broadway, Rainham.

It also plans on extending its opening hours to 1.30am on these days, later than the current closure time of midnight.

These activities, as per the current licence given to the pub, includes live music, recorded music, dance performances and supply of alcohol.

Lushi’s Coffee, in Mawney Road, Romford, has sought a premises licence to sell alcohol for consumption at the site from 10am to 11pm daily all week.

Any objections by residents or others can be sent in writing to the council’s licensing authority by November 25 stating the nature and grounds for such representation.

The requests are published in the public notices section of the Recorder, and are also available at publicnoticeportal.uk, a website combining these from across the regional press in the UK.

Ladbrokes Betting & Gaming Limited applied for a premises licence on October 27 to permit the supply of alcohol at Coral Stadium in Romford “earlier than it does currently”.

And lastly, Littlemore Food Ltd has applied for a premises licence in relation to Lakers Chicken Unit, in Eastern Road, Romford, to allow late night refreshment.
