East London is home to numerous gamesΒ venues – from virtual reality arcades to crazy golf courses.

And plans were recently unveiled for a new addition to this list. BUNKERS! is set to offer the people of Romfordcrazy golf, electro-darts and axe-throwing.

But while we wait for the official opening, here are five more gamesΒ venues to try in east London. Β Β

This virtual reality bar allows the player to visit a unique island retreat within virtual reality, which also acts as a hub for a variety of games and activities.

Games include a puzzle experience in a fantasy forest (Fujii) and a mission to beat back endless hoards of zombies (Arizona sunshine).

The bar has also been offering β€œthe best cocktail in the world” designed purely by artificial intelligence.

β€˜The Heavenly Sipper'Β is a short drink made up of elderflower cordial, honey syrup, anise bitters, lime juice and sparkling wine and garnished with an orange twist and was created by ChatGPT.

Shuffleboard sessions tend to be popular, so book in advance and early, although you can try your luck with a walk-in.Β

Swingers Crazy Golf offers a delightful blend of street food, drinks, and competitive socializing in a 1920s golf club setting.

Enjoy two bespoke nine-hole crazy golf courses, five cocktail bars, three top-notch street-food vendors, a two-story clubhouse with a gin terrace, and nightly DJs at their 16,000 sq ft city venue near the Gherkin.

The venue is open seven days a week from midday until late.

Roof East, situated on the top floor of Stratford Shopping Centre, combines festival vibes with delicious street food, funky cocktails, and abundant entertainment.

It's a rooftop playground, bar, and carpark-turned-hangout where you can enjoy classic games with a glamorous and quirky twist.

Games include "Glitter Bowls" that fuses lawn bowls with disco, sluggers batting cages, arrows and birdies crazy golf, as well as the Roof East hang bar to challenge your upper body endurance.
