Crazy golf, electro-darts and axe throwing are set to be on offer at a new games venue coming to Romford.

BUNKERS! is currently being built at the Brewery and will offer crazy golf as the lead attraction with two “never seen before” 12-hole courses.

Other games expected to be on the list at the 20,000 sq ft venue include axe throwing, deck shuffleboard, electro-darts, traditional shuffleboard, pool, ping pong, VR gaming and beer pong.

Owned by Adventure Leisure Limited, which also runs the Mr Mulligans brand, this will be the second BUNKERS! venue to open in the UK.

Lauren Price, marketing manager for Adventure Leisure, said that with an investment of nearly two million pounds, the company is “passionate about creating an amazing new family entertainment centre for the local community”.

She added: “Our latest venue will thrill and delight all players and I personally look forward to the venue becoming a jewel in the east London leisure scene for many years to come."

Colin Mayes, chief executive of parent company Burhill Group Limited, claimed that the site in Romford will bring 40 new job opportunities to the region.

The venue, he added, is due to finish in autumn this year but no opening date has been set yet.
