Police have imposed a stop and search order in Dagenham amid fears of violence, after an incident near a tube station.
A Section 60 order, which allows police to stop anyone suspected of carrying an offensive weapon, was imposed after an incident near Becontree Tube station.
The order will be in place until 5.45am tomorrow (19 May).
The Section 60 was put in place earlier today (18 May) as announced by Barking and Dagenham Metropolitan Police Service at 4.06pm on Twitter.
Parsloes Park and Castle Green skatepark are within the area under the police order.
The Met Police was approached for comment.
