HE is probably better known for his catchphrases like it’s a puppet and diverse range of characters like Dangerous Brian, but now you can see the man behind all these roles this weekend- and if you hurry there are still tickets left.

Comedian Brian Conley will be at the Cliffs Pavilion in Station Road, Southend for one night only this Sunday November 14 at 5.30pm plus an extra performance at 8pm.

Called the Brian Conley Show, the star will be taking you on a rollercoaster ride through some of his best loved characters from his television series including Larry The Loafer, Nick Frisbee and the legendary Al Jolson.

He promises to give you a night that will leave you chucking with laughter and on the edge of your seats.

Brian has had a career spanning some 20 years, but he kick started his career at the tender age of 16 performing cabaret shows in nightclubs.

But his TV career first took off when he landed the part as a warm up man for Terry Wogan and Noel Edmunds.

It was not long before he was snapped up by ITV and given his own show pulling in more than 12million viewers.

He then went on to play the lead role in Time After Time, which scooped the British Comedy award for Best ITV sitcom.

Brian has also clocked up appearances on TV including Let Me Entertain You in 2006, Dirty Rotten Cheater, on the big screen in Unconditional Love alongside Kathy Bates and in 2007 he starred alongside Bob Geldof in the award winning short film I am Bob.

West End credits include Me and My Girl at the Adelphi Theatre, starred as Characticus Potts in the West End musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the London Palladium.

Brian has also had TV appearances hosting the National Lottery Draw on Saturday nights and guest appearances on Loose Women and the Grumpy guides and around this time of year he is also seen in pantos.
