A Romford-based club owner opened the doors to a new ice bar this week specifically aimed at dance enthusiasts.

Steve Webb, who used to own Hollywood’s, in Romford, launched Evoke, formally known as The Chancellors Hall, in Chelmsford, on Tuesday after a 2.5million refurbishment.

The club celebrates dance culture as it takes a leap forward with a new generation.

It is the first Ice bar in Essex where you won’t need a jacket, and boasts a main dance floor, lounge and club.

Evoke has 3D lighting, bringing the music to life while invigorating CO2 jets wash over you as the sub bass takes your breath away.

Music lovers can begin their night with a fresh cocktail or treat friends to a flavoured vodka served in a glass made of ice.

A Japanese “Koudo Lounge” has been installed so that club goers have the chance to unwind before getting into the party spirit.

The Ice Bar opens at 9.30pm, with the club opening from 10pm-4am.

The event Eutopia will be held every Saturday night which will undoubtedly see the 1,100-capacity filled.

Evoke’s leading DJs including the likes of Radio 1’s, Danny Howard, will be regularly spinning pop, Commercial, R&B, hip-hop, dubstep and classic tracks to ensure everyone’s needs are catered for.

Tickets are available to buy now from www.clubtickets.com or you can purchase them on Evoke’s Facebook page.
