Betting guru Victor Chandler goes through this weekend’s best bets involving West Ham, Orient and Daggers

Avram Grant reckons his West Ham side can make progress and there could well be some truth in that statement – they are rock bottom at the moment, so the only way is up!

Grant’s side takes on Manchester City at Upton Park on Saturday and at 16/5 some could say they are a tasty price.

The Hammers need something to happen though, because they are odds on at 4/6 to be relegated and 11/10 to stay up.

We are also betting on their total season points and we make it 6/4 that they finish on under 34 points, 7/4 to get between 34 and 37 points and 15/8 to get 38 points or more.

And if you are really optimistic you can avail yourself of the 7/1 that West Ham finish in the top half!

Dagenham & Redbridge need to start climbing the table, and a tough trip to Carlisle won’t help their cause because an ominous gap is starting to appear for the bottom three. Even at 9/2 they don’t appeal.

Leyton Orient won’t mind so long as they keep getting points and stay out of the relegation zone and I fancy them to get something at Tranmere.

They are a best price of 11/5 and that looks quite attractive.
