Busy spell for Hammers

Elite League

Friday: Coventry Bees v Lakeside Hammers

Saturday: Lakeside Hammers v Kings Lynn Stars

Lakeside Hammers, in action at Peterborough last night, complete a busy 72-hour period with a trip to Coventry this evening (Friday) and home meeting with Kings Lynn tomorrow.

It will be their first meetings with the Panthers and Bees, who joined the Elite League belatedly after originally withdrawing from the competition during the winter break.

And Hammers will be out for revenge against newcomers Kings Lynn, having slumped to a 65-30 defeat at the Norfolk Arena last month.

Team boss Jon Cook has hinted at making possible changes to the line-up before the KO Cup ties against Birmingham on June 9-10, putting pressure on the riders to start performing to expectations.
