Lakeside Hammers v Wolverhampton Wolves

Hammers face a make-or-break week in their Elite League season as they prepare to take on Wolverhampton Wolves in front of the Sky Sports cameras tonight (Monday).

It will be the first meeting of four in the space of six days, and team boss Jon Cook will be hoping to build on the encouraging 48-42 win over the much-fancied Poole Pirates in their last outing.

The Hammers faithful will be hoping for better from the likes of Peter Ljung, who has struggled to match his form from the end of last year, and will be aware team changes could well be around the corner.

Wolverhampton pushed Lakeside all the way in the previous meeting at the Raceway this season, with the Hammers edging home 48-45.

Swedish duo Freddie Lindgren and Peter Karlsson will be a threat as ever for the Wolves, with the latter recording a six-ride maximum in the previous fixture.

Lakeside Hammers: Lee Richardson, Kauko Nieminen, Adam Shields, Piotr Swiderski, Peter Ljung, Stuart Robson, Robert Mear.

Wolverhampton Wolves: Freddie Lindgren, Ty Proctor, Ludvig Lindgren, Peter Karlsson, Ricky Wells, Joe Haines.
