Trio receive prizes from Essex JAC teams

Upminster Hockey Club were delighted to hear that three of their colts players had picked up special end of season awards.

The trio all won players coach of the year prizes for their respective Essex Junior Academy Centre (JAC) teams at the annual presentation evening at Chelmsford Hockey Club.

Adelaide Thatcher-Grey claimed her award for the under-15 group, while Freya Killilea took the under-14 prize and Lucy Rolfe the under-13s.

An Upminster spokesperson said: “The club are so proud of what they have achieved and the future remains bright for the club with our colts section growing year on year.”
