Netball squads produce good results

Redden Court’s netball squads have been in good form so far this term.

The year 10s played a triangular tournament for the Havering League against Emerson Park and Sacred Heart.

And all matches proved closely-contested, with each team winning and losing once each.

Redden Court beat Emerson Park 12-11, but lost 13-9 to Sacred Heart, who were beaten 8-7 by Park.

Redden Court: Josie East, Louise Banhan-Scott, Alanna Jeffries, Camela Cengu, Grace Deavin, Holly Stubbs, Lucy Stubbs, Emily George.

The year nine B team played some very good netball to beat Sanders A 10-9 and then took on Frances Bardsley in a series of matches.

The A team beat their Frances Bardsley counterparts 4-0, then defeated the B team 14-0.

Redden Court’s B team again played well, including some year eight girls due to illness and absence.

They beat Frances Bardsley B 2-0 and the C team 4-1, but lost 8-2 to the A team.
