Coopers Coborn celebrate their National Trampolining title

Trampolinists on a high

Coopers Company & Coborn School had double reason to celebrate at the National Trampolining Championships in Bristol on Sunday.

It was a case of third time lucky for their under-15 girls squad of Ellie Guy, Emma Brereton, Lucy Phillips and Susanna Badley, who produced some strong routines to come out on top in the Elite team competition after finishing as runners-up for the past two years.

And Badley also claimed the individual title after finising with the highest score, while Phillips took eighth place.

Bethany Chambers finished fifth in the under-17 individual and spokesperson Jane Lindsey said: “All the girls train together at Brentwood Trampoline Club and it is their passion and commitment to their sport that has given them this top spot in their school’s history.”
