The under-14 girls athletics team finished third at the Lee Valley Indoor Cup to qualify for the A final, while the boys were a respectable seventh.

The girls performance was one of school’ biggest achievements according to head of PE Chris Baker and the final takes place on the December 13 where Ballie Nesbittt, Lacey Nesbitt, Tayllah Barton-Conde, Chloe Trew, Molly Hickman and Olivia Adams will look to impress once again.

The school also celebrated a hat-trick of borough titles in handball, as the under-13 and under-15 girls beat their St Edwards rivals 5-2 and 8-6 respectively and the under-15 boys completed the treble by beating St Edwards 11-6.

The under 14 girls’ basketball team were also crowned champions of Havering, after beating Hall Mead and Redden Court in the group stage, before going on to beat Sacred Heart in the final by a 10-4 scoreline.
