London Two North East: Romford & Gidea Park 33 Norwich 31

Romford & Gidea Park made it seven wins in a row in the London Two North East on Saturday with a thrilling victory over Norwich.

Jordan Wigham and Steve Barfoot welcomed the visitors to Crow Lane expecting a tough challenge against a side fifth in the table.

Park got exactly that and at half time, they were facing the prospect of suffering a loss with Norwich ahead by a 14-10 score.

The hosts fought back admirably, however, and in the end, squeezed over the line by a two-point margin to triumph 33-31.

It was another exciting encounter and yet again, Romford had done it the hard way.

This win moves the Crow Lane club up to second in the table on 33 points after eight matches, but they trail leaders Woodford by seven points with the Highams Park side boasting a perfect record of eight victories from eight so far.
