Romford & Gidea Park under-13s ran in 14 tries in total as they cruised to a 70-0 success at Old Brentwoods.

Brendan Burgess was responsible for five of the tries, while Dave Amofah was able to nab a hat-trick.

Kyian Jeffrey, Albert Puddyford, Warren Petrie, Nathaneal Judd, Riley Hattersley and Zak McClenaghan also dotted down in the rout.

There was some real good rugby from Romford and a great team effort allowed the visitors to dominate the local derby from the off.

Romford were already 35-0 to the good at half-time and a few changes in the squad made no difference to their relentless try scoring.

Another seven tries followed in the second half, but Old Brentwoods continued to compete until the end despite the eventual margin of defeat.

Romford: McKeown, Petrie, Puddyford, French, Stacey, McClenaghan, Smith, Morley, Alden-Smith, Grundy, Tully, Jeffrey, Tucker, Judd, B Burgess, Amofah, Brooks, Hattersley, J Burgess.
