Hall Lane club were awarded a walkover success against Mersea Island last weekend
Upminster go in search of a ninth straight win in Essex Canterbury Jack One on Saturday when they visit Dagenham on Saturday.
The Hall Lane club continued their winning form last weekend without even having to take to the pitch.
The fixture list had Upminster down to host Mersea Island in what would have been their final home game before Christmas.
Mersea, though, conceded the match to hand the Hall Lane outfit a walkover success in the league.
It means Upminster will play Dagenham having not played since December 1 when they won 43-5 away to Writtle Wanderers.
The Hall Lane club will hope to use Saturday’s game to avenge a defeat at Dagenham in the Essex Presidents Shield last month.
And with this weekend’s match being the last of the calendar year for Upminster, they will hope to end 2018 on a high with a well-earned victory away from home as they look to keep the pressure well and truly on leaders Mavericks.
