Hornchurch pupils show strength

Campion School produced a seven-try display to ease past Robert Clack in the Daily Mail Under-18 Cup yesterday.

Michael Lewis claimed a brace of tries for the Hornchurch pupils, with Jack Tilbury, captain Luke Cassidy, Callum Jones and Brad Burr also going over.

The home side were awarded a penalty try, with Burr kicking two conversions and three penalties to complete the tally and set up a trip to Seevic College after half-term.

PE teacher Mike McDarby said: “The boys have worked extra hard over the last two months and produced a really good performance.”
