Friday night tips

Romford (38) trail Peterborough (69) and Yarmouth (60) after the first leg of the BAGS Track Championship following last week’s clash in Peterborough.

They next travel to Yarmouth on Wednesday before hosting their two rivals at the London Road track on December 6.

As for tomorrow night’s action at London Road, the biggest race is the Coral On TV Bitches Trophy which looks a match to the turn between Waspinajar (9.24) and Blue Glenard.

The former is just fancied on the draw, with six needing to get round pace inside.

Other bets on the card include Paulines Pride (8.18pm), who has been winning Henlow races for fun, in-form Billymatt (8.34), the improving Captain Hook (8.50) and the well-drawn Fabulous Agenda (9.56).

Most eyecatching race on the card, however, is the appearance of Puppy Cup winner Glanmire Lad who faces his toughest all-aged test to date against the likes of Stars One Day and Shaneboy Ozzy. But his searing pace to the bend should make hay.
