Friday night tips

Another cracking night’s open-racing looks in store at Romford this Friday, although the main event on the card will force punters to jump through Olympic-size rings to find the winner!

The draw for the Rose Bowl final looks a tough one for most in a field of railers, but Express Trend (9.24pm) is probably as well drawn as any and has scope for improvement after landing a confidence-boosting win in the heats.

Elsewhere, there are a number of eyecatchers including the unlucky-in-running-last-week pair of Guinness Jeff (8.18pm) and hurdler Cabra Legend (9.06pm) who can land deserved victories.

Fabulous Agenda (9.40pm) and Diamond Cnoc (10.26pm) are two of the most prolific scorers at Romford in recent seasons and could get back on track from better draws.

Rockburst Lenny (9.56pm) almost made the bend last week before being dragged back and could escape tonight.

Airforce Roger will have his supporters in the lucky last with his strong-running style, but Dixies Air (10.40) ran with great credit up at Sunderland and could make all from a good make-up.
