Friday night tips

Plenty to look forward to at Romford on Friday with two £750 finals backed by local bookmakers Steve Simmons and Tony Williams.

The March Hare can go to Fire Food Chili (9.06pm) who is probably a better trapper than nearest rival Droopys Bach.

And a first-bend lead (and likely improvement) could see Honeypound Joe (9.24pm) home over eight bends.

Other bets on the card worth catching are sprinter Blonde Carlos (7.30pm), who might break from the outside; the pacey but enigmatic Bonamassa Buddy (7.46pm) and the up-in-trip Droopys Aura (8.02pm).

The likes of Rio Torino (20.18pm), Fancy Socks (8.34pm), Blonde Snapper (10.11pm), Aero Majestic (10.26pm) and Aero Joker (9.56pm) could be a Super Yankee for the short-shots brigade!

Meanwhile, Saturday sees the Romford finals of the Bags/SIS Easter Bunny. All roads lead to Swindon on Good Friday (April 6) and three Romford dogs will represent the Coral track there. One of them might just be Jazz Gibbo from the 400m decider.
