Friday night tips

Head to Romford this Friday to see the Greyhound Derby class of 2012 as one of the most prestigious puppy events in the GBGB Calendar, the Coral Puppy Cup, comes to a conclusion with a red-hot final at 9.20pm.

The Barrie Draper-trained Eden Star is unopposable after setting a track-record 23.34sec time in the semi-finals last week.

And his draw in trap two gives him even more of a chance tonight! Take Slick Santiago for the forecast, but remember all six finalists!

The other final on the card is the Coral On TV Stayers Trophy over 575m at 9.04 where Young Tokyo looks the best of trainer Paul Young’s three finalists after starting well but finishing even better in the heats to clock the fastest time.

Other possible bets on the card include David Pruhs’s Monleek Mayhem (9.36pm), who showed signs of a form revival last week, in-form Liscahane Luke (9.52pm) for Russell Senior, and the oh-so-fast Lil Risky (10.08pm) for Mark Wallis.
