Hornets hold Marshall’s men

Romford Raiders returned from Bracknell with a point after a controversial English National League encounter.

Tom Davis and Frankie Harvey put Raiders 2-0 up inside five minutes, but the home side hit back to level, before Harvey claimed his second in an action-packed first period.

Bracknell, coached by former Raiders defenceman Ben Pitchley, squared matters in the middle session, then edged ahead with a hotly-disputed effort in the 47th minute.

But Raiders grabbed a share of the spoils as Harvey struck with 90 seconds remaining to complete a man of the match display.

Scorers: Harvey 3 Davis 1 Marshall 0+2 AJ Smith 0+1 Visockas 0+1 Leone 0+1.

Romford Fury battled to a 2-2 home draw with Chelmsford Warriors in ENL Division Two.
