Marshall pleased with new signing

Romford Raiders player-coach Danny Marshall is hoping new Slovakian import Juraj Huska can help solve their goalscoring problems.

Raiders have netted just three times in three English National League matches, after defeats against Chelmsford (1-0) and Invicta (4-2) last weekend.

They welcome Essex rivals Chelmsford to Rom Valley Way tomorrow (Saturday, 5.15pm) and visit Oxford on Sunday and Huska should be available to make his debut.

Marshall said: “We need some more scoring depth to take the pressure off and we need others chipping in as well.

“Juri trained with us this week. He played for Telford in the EPL a few years back and was their top scorer so we’re hoping he can help and put a few more bums on seats.”
