Marshall wants to end 2010 on a high
Danny Marshall wants Romford Raiders to end 2010 on a high against Cardiff and Invicta this weekend.
Raiders host the ENL Devils tomorrow - when under-16s will be allowed free entry - before visiting the Dynamos in Kent on Sunday.
And Marshall says his men need to maintain their momentum going into the festive break.
He said: “Cardiff is a must-win game for us. They’re stepping their game up a bit and playing better, but with what I’ve got, there’s no reason why we shouldn’t win.
“It’s never easy at Invicta and we lost 4-2 to them at home, but that was without Juraj (Huska), so I’m looking to nick the points and finish the year on a high.
“When we play Chelmsford, Invicta and the Isle of Wight next we definitely need to nick the points if we want to be fighting for the title.
“Some teams started strong and have been slipping up a bit, but we’re getting momentum now. If we can take away the little individual errors, I think we’ve got a great team here.”
