Everyone Active Raiders have announced the departure of Slovakian forward Marek Nahlik ahead of the 2018/19 National League season.
The 34-year-old has spent three seasons with the club and proved to be a popular figure amongst the fans.
Nahlik made 125 appearances in the gold and blue picking up 104 goals and 69 assists for a total of 173 points.
The forward finished as top scorer in his first season for the Raiders; joint top scorer in his second season; and second last season to Juraj Husks with 46 points.
Before joining Raiders, he had a 10 year career primarily in Slovakia League Two, including six seasons with HJC Topolcany before moving to England to play for Invicta Dynamos in 2014-15 for whom he made 28 appearances in all competitions, scoring 25 goals and 23 assists for 48 points.
After a season back in Slovakia for HMK Humenne, Marek moved to London for the 2015-16 season.
A club statement said: “It is fair to say that Marek joined the team during a troubled spell in its history but he approached each game with energy made all the more infectious for the fans by the constant grin, unless the referee denied him a blatently obvious penalty:
“Back home in Slovakia Marek thanked the Raiders and told of how much he enjoyed his time here and we of course reciprocate with thanks for the time and effort over those character building years and wish him well for all that the future holds for him.”
