Archant

Everyone Active Raiders have been rocked by the new of three potential long-term injuries to Mason Webster, Sean Barry and Ollie Baldock.

The trio will be sidelined and ruled out for a number of weeks after picking up injuries on the opening weekend of the National League South One season.

24-year-old Webster fell awkwardly when having a fight with Streatham’s Leigh Jamieson on Sunday and it has resulted in a fractured fibula.

The club will be awaiting the verdict on a timescale for repairs but it will not be an easy fix and he could remain out until Christmas time.

Defenceman Barry was on the end of a big hit on the plexi in the same game and has picked up a rotator cuff injured.

He is expected to return to the ice within a few weeks.

20-year-old forward Baldock left the game early on Saturday due to a return of a previous knee (MCL) injury and again these repairs are measured in months rather than weeks with assistance from physio and other treatments.
