Scot joins Lee Valley ranks
London Raiders have announced the signing of Scottish goalie David Jackson for the new National League season.
Jackson made a combined total of 27 appearances for the Invicta Dynamos and Mustangs during the 2012-13 and 2013-14 seasons, recording decent statistics between the pipes.
Before that he played in the Northern League for Dundee Stars and the Scottish National League for Edinburgh and Kirkaldy.
A club statment said: “The Raiders management are delighted to be able to confirm another very capable signing.

“David Jackson had spent two seasons between the pipes for the two Invicta senior teams following on from his junior years where he iced for several teams north of Hadrian’s wall.
“Raiders will be hoping that Davie turns out to be a wall of our own and will provide serious competition for Michael Gray.”

The 25-year-old will become the fourth Jackson to wear the gold and blue and will follow in the footsteps of namesakes Russ and Glen in protecting the Raiders net.
Glen Jackson made 134 appearances and boasted a 3.03 goals against average and 89.58 save percentage for Raiders, picking up two assists, while Russ Jackson played 177 times and conceded 6.65 goals per game in the early 1990s, , with an 83.34 save percentage when the Heineken British League was dominated by high-scoring matches. He also scored 10 assists.
Defenceman Chris Jackson played 11 matches in the 2002-03 season, scoring one assist.
