Thacker bowls highest game in league history
Rachel Thacker rolled the highest women’s game in the history of the Sunday Trios League at Romford’s City Pavilion at the weekend.
Thacker starred once again with a score of 234, beating the previously highest mark of 232 set by Becky Skinner nine years ago.
And Thacker’s latest heroics came just a few weeks after her league record 600-plus series as she improved her leading average to 168.2, ahead of Lisa Sherer 155.
Mike Hayford (182.9) leads the men’s averages from Allan Park (182.0), while Phat Bs extended their lead at the top of the scratch competition table to eight points from Pinpals, with Lucky Three in third place.
Misfits lead the way in the handicap competition, from Pinball Wizards and Clappers.
