Marshalls under-14s claimed a fine win over Phoenix in their latest outing at the weekend.

Somto Ezeonwuka, Ella Wilkins and Olivia Adams defended well, as player of the match Molly Hall and Molly Hickman netted some fine goals at the other end.

And Mia Lickford, Emma Grayson and Bella Lacey worked tirelessly in mid court as Marshalls won 28-8.

The under-12s beat Essex Open under-10s by an 11-5 margin, with shooters Aimee Chamberlain, Caoimhe Moloney and Sam Willoughby combining well.

Bobbi Lehane, Leah Taylor, Priyah Atmutairi and Lexi Rossington Trotman made lots of space in mid-court and Zikora Ezoenwuka, Olamma Iwobi and Lily Chamberlain applied pressure on the Essex attackers as player awards went to Aimee and Lily Chamberlain.

The news was not so good for the senior sides in the Essex Met League, as Marshalls Yellow lost 51-38 to Eclipse in Division Two, with Usha Ahmed and Gemma Sewell their player and coaches player of the match.

Marshalls Red went down 50-29 against Leyton, with Elle Cruse and Megan Gowing picking up awards, while Marshalls White lost 34-25 to a determined Romford D team.

Grace Roberts took the player of the match award, while Erika Whelan Smythe was the coaches choice.

Marshalls Black went closest to a win, but were eventually edged out 40-38 by Cumberland.

Jenifer Comrie and Charlotte Higginson shared the coaches player award after applying plenty of pressure on the Cumberland shooters.

Becky Higginson was named player of the match after netting a host of goals alongside Ed Butterworth to give Marshalls a slight advantage at half time.

Natalie Charlton, Kirsty Hogben and Mia Gladman moved the ball well in mid court, but Cumberland were able to introduce some fresh legs which proved key.

Marshalls Gold lost 48-32 to leaders Foxes thirds in Division Eight, after trailing 16-3 at the first break.

They rallied after that start, with Roxy Brown and Ellie Luxton sharing the coaches player award.
