Everyone Active Raiders have announced a triple signing of Matt Turner, Julian Smith and Callum Burnett, who will all return to the club for the 2018/19 season.
Forward Turner, 29, is returning for his seventh season in the gold and blue after impressing again last campaign.
The centre played in 46 games last term, scoring 12 goals and 21 assists for 33 points, bringing his overall tally up to 266 in 272 games for the club.
“I’m really excited to be wearing gold and blue again this season,” Turner said.
“I had no hesitation when Sean Easton asked me to return because pulling on that jersey and skating out in front of the best fans in the league, there’s no better feeling.
“I can’t wait to get started. I think we turned a few heads last year and proved a few people wrong with our work ethic and our determination to win and by the end of the season we were challenging the top teams.
“Looking at the team Sean has put together, I feel we can have even more success and bring home some silverware.
“Personally I’m hoping to reach Coventry finals weekend as its still on my ‘to do’ list.”
Raiders also announced the return of 31-year-old defenceman Smith for his sixth season in the gold and blue.
He made 44 appearances for the Raiders, scoring 10 assists, but for the first time in his career he failed to find the back of the net.
“I am really pleased to be returning to the Raiders for 2018/19 and to make it my sixth season in the gold and blue shirt,” he said.
“The hockey buzz is well and truly back in Romford and it’s an exciting thought at what the upcoming season holds for the club. I am looking forward to helping the team build on what it achieved last year and excited to get back to training.”
Fellow defenceman Burnett, 17, returns for his third season with the Raiders but this year will be dividing his time between the main team and the newly formed Division Two side.
The Great Britain under-18 international made 44 appearances last term and chief executive John Scott said: “It is a formula that has worked with many of the present Raiders senior squad, including Brandon, Jake and Ollie and even as far back as Matt Turner, so if something isn’t broken we won’t be trying to fix it.”
