Raiders look to keep run going

ENL Division 1

Saturday (5.15pm)

Romford Raiders v MK Thunder

Sunday (6.45pm)

Streatham Redskins v Romford Raiders

Raiders extended their winning streak to 11 games with success against Swindon and Oxford last weekend.

And they host the Thunder this weekend for what is officially an away fixture, after the original clash in Milton Keynes was postponed due to problems with the ice, before travelling to south London to take on struggling Streatham.

Raiders won 7-0 Thunder came to Rom Valley Way a fortnight ago, then piled up a 23-2 win against the Wildcats before a 7-2 success in Oxford.

But their last defeat came in a 5-3 home reverse against the Redskins in November, just a week after beating them 10-1.

Who said the ENL was predictable?

JJ McGrath looks set to start a suspension, following his match penalty for spearing at Oxford.

But player-coach Danny Marshall should have most of his other players available as he looks to notch up wins 12 and 13 before the big clash with title rivals Isle of Wight on February 26.

Leading Raiders: Danny Marshall 84 points (26 goals, 58 assists); Juraj Huska 63 (42+21); Frankie Harvey 55 (22+33).
