Raiders looking to build

Saturday

ENL Division 1

CARDIFF v RAIDERS

A series of scuffles and misconduct led to these two sides sharing 150 minutes in penalties at Rom Valley Way last weekend.

Raiders came out on top by a 6-2 margin, with player-coach Danny Marshall and AJ Smith netting two goals apiece.

But the Devils made their feelings clear before heading back to Wales and Romford can expect a warm welcome in the principality, where they will be looking to avenge a defeat from their previous visit.

ENL Division 2

FURY v SOLENT

After a steady start to their campaign, Fury fell to a heavy 9-3 defeat against Cardiff Satans last weekend.

High-flying Solent, with six wins from seven to their name, will provide another stern test for Alan Blyth’s men, who are struggling in attack, averaging less than three goals per game.

Sunday

ENL Division 1

RAIDERS v ISLE OF WIGHT

Another quick return meeting with their namesakes from Ryde.

Frankie Harvey scored twice in Romford’s 5-2 success last Saturday, as Marshall’s men stuck to a gameplan.

The Isle of Wight have not always been the greatest of travellers, but will be keen to set the record straight, by any means necessary.
