Hole in one golfer James Stanley

Emerson Park’s James Stanley has only been playing golf for just over a year, but he has already achieved something many haven’t in the sport.

The six-year-old – who is having lessons at the new Ingrebourne Links golf complex in Rainham under one of its PGA professionals Glen Brown – completed a hole in one on the ninth and final hole of its par three course recently.

And Brown was naturally delighted to see his pupil come up trumps and secure his maiden hole in one.

“I had given James a lesson and then we played a round on the course and he got managed to finish it off with a lovely hole in one on the last,” said Brown.

“It was a great shot that was inch perfect and it looked like it might go in as soon as he hit it. He has great enthusiasm for the sport and has been playing it for around a year. He has a
lovely swing”

And if this is anything to go by, Brown may well have a good golfer on his hands!
