Havering look to hit back

East League

Premier A: HAVERING v Crostyx

BEATEN for the first time in six outings this season at Cambridge Uni last weekend, Havering will be keen to bounce back quickly.

Captain Paul Johnson was among the goalscorers in a 4-3 reverse, which saw his side slip down the table.

They could fall further if beaten by Crostyx, but Johnson wants to make Campion a fortress and will hope home advantage tells.

*Havering’s vets chase National glory on Sunday, when they entertain Southgate Adelaide in the Masters Cup (12.30pm).

Div 1: Cambridge City II v UPMINSTER

BEATING high-flying Felixstowe at Coopers last weekend will have given Upminster a huge lift.

But they have been blighted by inconsistency so far this season and will have to be on their guard as they travel up the M11.

A second successive win could lift Nick Payne’s men up to fifth, if other results go their way.

Div 4SE: ROMFORD v Brentwood II

TABLE-TOPPING Brentwood will provide a tough test for James Hibbard’s men at Robert Clack.

Beaten 5-3 at Witham 2nds last weekend, Romford need to tighten up at the back a bit to give themselves any chance of an upset.

But then, they will have to be clinical in attack too, as Brentwood have only conceded three goals in six games to date.
