Havering visit champions elect

East Premier A

Peterborough v Havering (3pm)

Table-topping Peterborough hit the 100-goal mark last weekend.

And Havering will travel to the runaway leaders with something to prove after being held to a draw by lowly Wapping at Campion.

Captain Paul Johnson limped off injured in the early stages, but Gaz Ingram kept his impressive scoring run going in the 2-2 stalemate.

The best Havering can hope for now, though, is a third-place finish, but even those hopes might be ended this weekend.

East Division 1

Brentwood v Upminster (2pm)

It’s a crunch relegation battle at Sawyer Hall College between these two Essex rivals.

Inconsistent Upminster beat Broxbourne 6-3 last weekend thanks to four goals from Lyndon Ford and have a six-point cushion over Brentwood in the fight to stay out of the bottom three.

Old Southendian are still in the mix, but held leaders St Ives to a draw last time out.

Division 4SE

Harlow v Romford (1pm)

Beaten 7-1 by Havering 2nds in their derby last week, Romford visit relegation-threatened Harlow with their own survival secured.

They could still climb up to fifth in the final three weeks of the campaign, but could also drop to ninth if results do not go their way.
