Season drawing to a close

East Premier A

Havering v Wapping

With six wins in their last seven outings, Havering are showing good late-season form.

They proved too strong for lowly Crostyx last weekend, with Gaz Ingram on target against his former club in a 3-0 win.

And Paul Johnson’s men will be hoping for more of the same against a Wapping side also looking over their shoulders at the lower end of the table.

Only basement boys Blueharts have conceded more goals (75) than Wapping (65) this season and Havering will be going all out to increase their misery as they chase the runners-up spot.

Division 1

Upminster v Broxbourne

Trouble is brewing at Coopers, after Upminster’s home defeat against Cambridge City last weekend.

They welcome another mid-table team tomorrow, needing points to avoid a relegation dog-fight with Essex rivals Brentwood.

Upminster have a six-point cushion over them at the moment, but there are still four games remaining, including a crunch clash between the two sides at Brentwood next weekend.

Division 4SE

Romford v Havering II

Having given high-flying Brentwood 2nds a fright last weekend, in a 2-1 defeat, Romford face another derby at Robert Clack.

Beaten 4-3 when the two sides met at Campion, Romford will be out for revenge as they look to end the season as high as possible.
