Local trio on their travels
East Premier A
Cambridge City v Havering
Chris Dunn’s late goal saved Havering from defeat against West Herts last weekend.
But Paul Johnson’s men need to start turning draws into wins in the second half of the season if they are to have a say at the top end of the table.
They trail third-placed City by six points, but have a game in hand, so what better time to start making up some lost ground?
Dereham II v Upminster
Form team Upminster climbed to fourth place with their 5-2 success over Old Southendian, who are now just one point above them.
And they will be confident of extending their seven-game unbeaten run at lowly Dereham, who slumped to a 5-0 defeat at Felixstowe last weekend.
Brentwood III v Romford
Victory over East London 2nds was most needed by Romford.
Goalie Dean Overton impressed in the 4-2 success and will, no doubt, be busy at third-placed Brentwood.
