Havering look to hit back

East Premier A

Havering v West Herts (1pm)

Little went Havering’s way in a 3-2 defeat at Wapping last weekend.

They saw some changes go begging and umpiring decisions go against them.

But they cannot afford to dwell on the past, lying just three points above last-placed Norwich City, as they welcome table-topping West Herts to Campion.

The leaders were 3-1 winners over lowly Dereham last weekend.

Division 1

Ford v Upminster (Redbridge, 3pm)

Lowly Upminster had to settle for just a point last weekend.

But it was a good point against leaders Waltham Forest, after a 2-2 draw.

Upminster actually found themselves 2-0 up in the first half and will not want to let another winning chance slip against mid-table Ford, who enjoyed a 5-2 win over Bedford in their most recent outing.

Division 4SE

Wapping IV v Romford (City of London Academy, 4.30pm)

Romford suffered a third successive defeat against Havering 2nds last weekend.

They have conceded 18 times in that sequence and must tighten up at the back if they are to return with something from east London.

Wapping lie three points above them in the table at present, but were beaten 5-2 on their travels at Harlow last weekend.
