The latest news from the Harold Hill Judo Club

Harold Hill Judo Club returned from a festival in Dartford with nine medals to show for their efforts.

A total of nine of the club’s members made the relatively short journey across the River Thames to compete.

The competition offered a step up in quality for the youngsters, who all have 100 per cent in all of their bouts.

Gold medals were won by Mia Eastwood, Reed Blanks and Billy after a string of impressive performances.

Those who took home silver medals for Harold Hill at the event were Erin, Anton and Polina.

Ronnie Cage, Ivan and Beau, meanwhile, all took home bronze medals from the competition in Kent.

“Our players we very enthusiastic in this competition which is a good thing but sometimes to the detriment of technique which is what our club prides itself on. So a little work needs to be done when we return to training,” said coaches Bill Taylor and Perry Blanks.
