Havering Gymnasts achieved great success at the recent Essex County Championships held at Colchester.
The leading lights for the club, who train at their centre at Bower Park Academy, were 14-year-old Erin Bellman and 13-year-old Elizabeth Hayward from Upminster who were crowned FIG Junior and FIG Espoir Champions respectively.
The great achievements did not end there as 11-year-old Lucy Gunn from Doddinghurst was celebrating having won the Level 5 Championship as well.
A number of other club youngsters picked up medals at the event, and they include Katie Hammond, Gemma Layton, Halle Dawson, Kate Walker, Isabelle Wokoma, Dharia Cunningham, Scarlett McFarlane, Ruby Curley, Ruby Still, Katelynn Brissett, Rose Butler and Isabelle Whellams.
Due to their level of success, Bellman, Hayward, Layton, Wokoma, Cunningham and Ruby Still have all now been selected by the County to represent them at the upcoming Inter County Team competition next month against teams from all over the Eastern regions of the UK.
