Marshalls Park’s year eight boys continued their fine form against borough rivals Albany.

Strong play on the right from Joshua Holmes helped Park dominate the first half.

And they were 4-0 up at the break after Alfie Parrish and Holmes both scored great goals.

Parrish hit a 25-yard shot into the top corner and Holmes scored from 18 yards after some hard work down the right.

Albany got back into the tie in the second half as Marshalls gave some time to other players.

But Ben Jones added to the tally for Park as they ended up well on top.

Teacher Paul Aylett said: “It was a good win, but we need to maintain possession a little better and be more professional as we develop our game.

“Saying that, we are glad to get the three points and look forward to another game against Bower Park on Thursday.”
