Duo look to bounce back

Premier: Sutton v Hornchurch

URCHINS will be smarting after their surprise FA Trophy exit at Ashford Town (Middx) last weekend.

Defeat ended their 11-game unbeaten run and Jimmy McFarlane’s men face a tough test at table-topping Sutton.

Hornchurch cannot afford another wasteful day in front of goal and will have to take any chances that come their way if they are to claim the points at Gander Green Lane.

Division 1N: Enfield Tn v Romford

BORO travel to Brimsdown on the back of their first league defeat since August 24.

Paul Martin’s men slipped to a 2-0 home loss against leaders East Thurrock in midweek, after Kye Ruel and Max Cornhill netted three minutes apart late on.

It was Romford’s first reverse since their 1-0 loss at Wingate, ending a 12-game unbeaten run in league play.

They remain firmly in the play-off hunt, though, and will want to bounce back quickly.
