Boro boss pleased with draw

Romford boss Paul Martin felt a draw was fair from last night’s Ryman One North meeting with Heybridge.

The two sides battled to a goalless stalemate at Mill Field, although Swifts came closest to scoring as they hit the post.

Martin said: “I’ve got to be happy with a point, they’re second in the league.

“It was a fair result. They’re the best side we’ve played this year but we deserved a point and it’s another clean sheet.”
