Hornchurch in drive for five

Ryman Premier Division

Harrow Borough v Hornchurch

Urchins are in the play-off places after extending their winning run to four games with a pair of 1-0 wins this week.

Martin Tuohy was the matchwinner against basement boys Croydon Athletic last Saturday and the difference once more against former club Aveley in midweek.

Manager Jimmy McFarlane will have been delighted with successive clean sheets and hoping his side can maintain their momentum at mid-table Harrow, before Urchins host relegation-threatened Hastings in midweek.

Ryman Division 1N

Potters Bar v Romford

Boro boss Paul Martin called it the “worst week of the season” after seeing his side beaten at home by Tilbury and Harlow.

Romford shipped seven goals in those defeats and slipped to tenth in the table.

But their destiny remains in their own hands with games in hand on most of the other contenders above them in the table.

Potters Bar have also suffered a dip in form recently, since their 3-1 win at Mill Field at the start of February, so Boro will be looking to get their bid back on track.
