Striker has rejoined Urchins on loan
Hornchurch boss Jimmy McFarlane said it was not difficult to persuade Reece Beckles-Richards to return to the club on loan.
The striker had a spell with the Urchins earlier in the season, scoring five times before returning to his parent club Woking.
The youngster also spent time with Conference South side Farnborough this year but McFarlane think Beckles-Richards will enjoy his return to Bridge Avenue.
“He and his family love the club. I’ve been trying to get him back for the last few weeks,” said McFarlane.
“He’s signed until the end of the season but hopefully there are no problems at Woking. He went back to them from the first spell because they had an injury crisis.”
The return of the forward could prove a welcome boost to the Urchins’ bid to avoid relegation from the Ryman Premier Division.
Hornchurch have scored just 34 times this campaign and McFarlane is looking for Beckles-Richards to help the side find the net more often.
“Hopefully he can get a few goals for us. He gives us something different,” added McFarlane.
“He’s happy to play on the shoulders of defenders. He’s pacy and has bundles of ability.”
